Hello everybody! I figure I should update you all every few months, lol.  For a little while my life was very busy, but for a while now things have been slower.  Still busy, but I'm getting a grasp on everything.  As I mentioned long ago in my last journal, I was pregnant.  My beautiful baby boy Dominic Xander Carlson was born March 3rd, 2013.  Three weeks early... It's actually a funny story. Apparently BK Whoppers hate me.  I got violently ill and spent the night puking up my Whopper. I decided after 6 hours of puking to go to the hospital and it was then the doctors decided they weren't going to let me go home without a baby in my arms.  He's the world to me and I can't wait to make art with him! I even got him a DA shirt before he was born.



In other news, I do have a few Artist Alleys to add to my agenda. With Colossalcon less than two weeks away, I just want to let anyone wondering know that I did not get a table this year.  They didn't feel like letting me in i guess. I will be at the con as an attendee on Friday June 7th.  If there is anyone who was planning on buying something from me, feel free to let me know and I can bring stuff with me and we can meet up.  But you must let me know ahead of time or else you'll just have to use PayPal.  I did however get a table at Matsuricon, so I will be returning for my second year.  Also, I recently became the official con artist for Glass City Con.  Even though Glass City Con 4 will not occur until 2014, I'm already set up to be there.  However, I will not be in the Artist Alley.  I will be in the Vendors section! Just an FYI.  That's all I know of so far.  We'll see with a new child and whatnot how my schedule will be this year.  I did have to give up several cons earlier in the year due to having a baby, but I'm trying to get to a few cons for the rest of the year.  How else can mama bring home the dough?

A friend of mine has built a website for me.  It hasn't launched yet, but I suppose I'll be back to notify you when it has.  It will have a direct way to purchase prints and commissions with a PayPal checkout so there's no having to email or send notes like you must do now.
