This is an entry for the now widely spread Zodiac Sailor contest held by =DracheaRannak. I must say, i find it hard to resist a chance to design a new character, lol. I could even see myself drawing her again. Sooo much pink. I didn't know where to start really. I wanted her to be unique. So i decided to draw her in the Harajuku style for her outift, then i tried to limit my color choices instead of including every color of the rainbow.
If you're wondering why i didn't go with a crab theme it's because i wanted to reflect more on personality. Lauli represents the 'imaginative' trait in Cancer's that i KNOW i have! It's been a long time since i colored something in Photoshop, but i did it for time reasons. It turned out pretty good i think. She was a blast to draw. I'm especially proud of how short i made the skirt, lol.
